Delivering quality care is never about just one thing. It’s about giving attention to the scores of details — things big and small — to support, comfort, and care for the whole person and uplift the entire family. That is what we do every day.

Then, we go even further.

Our Caregivers

Our care team is a dynamic and diverse group of qualified, compassionate, care professionals.

We support them to do the job they love by providing advanced, paid training, competitive wages with an opportunity for pay raises and other benefits, safety and wellness programs, and comprehensive administrative support.

Our Caregivers

Caregiver Training

Our caregivers enroll in our innovative and unique HomeCare 100 Caregiver Training Program, the most advanced caregiver training in the region.

Through dynamic classroom sessions taught by industry experts and educators, followed by hands-on lab practice, our caregivers learn about the aging process, how to facilitate safe transfers, prepare nutritious meals, assist with the activities of daily living, hygiene and incontinence care, dementia-specific care, end-of-life care, and much more. Caregivers are taught how to create meaningful connections and enhance the quality of life for every senior we serve. And, caregivers can earn pay raises for credits completed.

Caregiver Screening

After potential caregivers fill out an application, we begin our screening process with a phone interview. Candidates attend a four-hour new caregiver orientation. During those conversations and meetings, we look for caregiving candidates who are patient, compassionate and demonstrate a desire to work with older adults and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Each potential caregiver also undergoes a criminal background check and 5-panel drug screening, before being offered employment. If the caregiver will be transporting clients, we also check to make sure they have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and up-to-date insurance. We also check references.

In addition, we run the Colorado Adult Protective Services check, in keeping with state regulations, to make sure the prospective employee has had no incidence of physical or sexual abuse, or neglect or exploitation of an at-risk adult.

Once we hire an individual, they enroll in our HomeCare 100 Caregiver Training Program where they receive comprehensive education and skills practice to help older adults with activities of daily living, safe transfers, meaningful engagement and socialization, dementia and Parkinson’s care, and a range of other care needs.
